Transaction Much!.

Day as an observant,

Transactional friendships… does it ring a bell? Well, no need to look around because a lot of them do exist but the care to pin point or point a finger is a miss.

While we laugh, care, love and share, do you ever pause and ask if there is any form of genuinity put in place. One may be present because there is need for them to be there but once the water hits the bridge, they are on their way out. Is that  reason to doubt them? Maybe not or maybe yes? Take a moment and reflect.
Could be ideal if these were just thoughts but heey, things happen. Words are spoken, instances are laid upon your face but all that form of give or take hits in. The self centerism, the selfish personality comes cralwing back and all that you can think of is how to give up on the other end of friendship to save your boat.
Ingenuity is needed in friendships because people care and share for various reasons. Some struggle to make relations others get to them easy but end day they get to hurt. Trust is two way and once its broken,  the damage is forever just like in the stories of my ‘first’. Hard to forget , control and contain.

Friendships have claimed life more than that of romantics. We engage and open up about our vulnerabilities because we feel we have found our safe havens. If its a transaction then better get  done with it  from the very begin. Life is sweet, short and fragile.

Keep yours, watch yours, but never use yours because it costs to maintain what someone has built for a purpose!  For days, this may sound cliche, but time does tell.
The selfishness in humanity surpasses that of the dark tales, but it takes resilience to shape what can’t be broken or damaged. But what’s our purpose? I bet it should be care for, protect,  and exercise zero malice because once a promise is broke,  calling truce is just a long game!
